Snow Day

We had a tiny bit of snow on Sunday, and Katelyn was so excited to play outside.

I love this picture because both Katelyn and Ali have their eyes shut!


Yesterday, we finally had a proper snowstorm!
Here's our recipe for a perfect snow day:

Step 1: Shovel (which really means follow Mom around and undo all the shoveling she just did)

Step 2: Make snowballs and throw them in the street.

Step 3: Start at the top of the hill...

...and run all the way to the bottom.

Repeat steps 1-3 for an hour until Mommy is tired and cold.
Then do steps 4-5 in the back yard for another hour with the dogs while Mommy watches from the window with a hot cup of coffee.

Step 4: Make footprints and play frisbee.
Occasionally knock snow off of plants and bushes.

Step 5: Watch Copper eat snow and follow his good example.

Step 6: Come inside and warm up with a cup of hot chocolate and say,
"Mommy, I love hotty chocolate!"
