Happy Halloween!

For the first time since we've lived in Colorado, it wasn't frigid, snowy, or icy (or all three!) on Halloween! Instead, it was a beautiful, sunny, 70 degree day. After many discussions and changing her mind several times, Katelyn decided that she would be a monkey. And what more perfect place to be a monkey than the zoo?

It's impossible to get 3 kids to look at the same place at the same time and smile. This was the best we could do.


Later that night, we went trick-or-treating!

Sarah Palin took a break from campaigning to trick-or-treat with us.

After choosing a few pieces of candy, Katelyn left the rest of her candy for the "Candy Fairy," who left her this present in return - a pretty princess crown and ring!
